Blue Ridge, Georgia, was founded in the late 19th century.  Today its alluring small-town quality compels visitors and residents with the scenic beauty, connection with nature, and its source of pure mineral waters.  Visitors and businesses alike enjoy the quaint small-town atmosphere.  The town’s attraction has spread to become one of the state’s most popular up-scale retreats.  

 

Only an hour and a half north of Atlanta, Blue Ridge offers an escape to a destination where life can be lived at your own pace.  It is a place where one can take a stroll through town perusing the galleries, antique shops, spend a relaxing meal in one of the downtown restaurants. Visitors can board a short train ride through the beauty of the mountains.

 

The more adventurous might step up the pace to enjoy a day of golfing, fishing, hiking, trail riding on horseback, mountain biking, or kayaking in the crystal clear Toccoa River.
